The Contact Form Has Been Filled Out — What Happens Next?

How wonderful that we can take the next steps toward your wedding day! Here’s an overview of what you can expect as we move forward with planning both your trial session and your big day.

Confirmation of Receipt

First, I will send you a message to confirm that I’ve received your completed contact form. This ensures you have peace of mind that your request has been successfully received.

Introduction with the Bride

We’ll schedule an introductory consultation to discuss your wishes, style, and any special requests. During this meeting, I’ll also explain how I work during both the trial session and the wedding day itself.
If you already have an idea of your desired look, feel free to share inspiration photos for your hair and makeup in advance.

Planning the Trial Session

Together, we’ll schedule the date, time, and location of your trial session. Please note that the trial session takes approximately 4 hours, allowing plenty of time for a thorough consultation and the opportunity to try different looks.

Booking Your Wedding Day Appointment

After our consultation, you can complete the booking form on the website to formally secure your wedding date. If you have any last-minute questions, you can always contact me by phone, WhatsApp, or email.

Follow-Up

I will confirm all details for your wedding day appointments and answer any remaining questions. You can trust that everything will be carefully arranged so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

I look forward to working together and making sure you look and feel your absolute best on your wedding day!

How to Prepare Your Skin and Hair for the Trial Session & Wedding Day

Your wedding day is one of the most important moments of your life, and naturally you want to look and feel your absolute best. Beautiful bridal makeup and hairstyling start with the right preparation. Preparing your skin and hair properly ensures that your makeup lasts all day and your hairstyle stays flawless from the ceremony to the last dance.

At Vanessa Cristina Make-up & Hair, I guide every bride through the preparation process for both the trial session and the wedding day. Here’s everything you need to know to achieve the best results.

Preparing for the TrialSession: Inspiration & Collaboration

Before your trial session, I kindly ask you to send inspiration photos of makeup and hairstyles you love. This gives me a clear idea of your preferences, personal style, and the look you envision for your wedding day. With this information, we can make the trial more focused and effective.

During the trial session, you’ll have input at every step of the process. It’s your special day, so your opinion and comfort are essential. At the same time, I use my professional expertise to guide you and create a look that complements your facial features, skin type, hair texture, dress, and overall bridal style. Together, we create your perfect bridal look.

Skin Preparation

In the weeks before your trial session and wedding day

    • Keep your skin well hydrated with a good daily moisturizer.

    • Exfoliate gently once or twice a week for a smooth base.

    • Avoid trying new skincare products shortly before your trial or wedding day to prevent irritation or breakouts.

    • Drink plenty of water to keep your skin fresh and glowing.

    • Schedule facials or skin treatments at least two weeks before your trial or wedding day to allow your skin to recover.

The day before your trial session or wedding

    • Cleanse your skin thoroughly.

    • Use a hydrating face mask if desired.

    • Remove any facial hair at least 24–48 hours in advance.

    • Get a good night’s sleep to help your skin look rested and healthy.

On the day itself

    • Arrive with clean, well-hydrated skin.

    • Avoid heavy creams, facial oils, or shiny SPF.

    • Come without makeup or only with light skincare.

Hair Preparation

Proper hair preparation helps create better texture, volume, and long-lasting styling.

For the trial session

    • Wash your hair the evening before your trial session.

    • Use shampoo and avoid heavy masks or oils. For the Curly brides use also conditioner.

    • Arrive with completely dry hair and no styling products (no gel, hairspray, or serum).

    • Wear your hair as you normally do so I can see your natural texture and movement.

    • Bring your veil or hair accessories if you plan to wear them on your wedding day.

For the wedding day

    • Wash your hair the evening before the wedding, unless advised differently during your trial.

    • Avoid heavy or oily hair products such as leave-in conditioners or hair oils.

    • Ensure your hair is completely dry before your appointment.

    • Arrive with clean, product-free hair for the best styling results.

    • For the Curly brides, wet your hair 10-15 minutes before I arrive. Also make sure your hair is free of any products.

Extra Tips for a Smooth Preparation

    • Wear clothing that is easy to remove without disturbing your hair (such as a button-down shirt).

    • Plan a relaxed schedule without time pressure.

    • Trust the process and professional guidance — the goal is to make you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful.
